This role involves:

• Sourcing and purchasing food, beverages, packaging, consumables, and operational supplies while maintaining the required standards of quality, availability, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Requiring practical F&B procurement and operational experience within Dubai’s hospitality, events, hotel, restaurant, or catering sector. The successful candidate should possess strong supplier-market knowledge, commercial negotiation skills, and a sound understanding of food costs, inventory controls, and operational requirements.
  
  

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Source and procure food, beverages, packaging, consumables, and F&B operational supplies.
• Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, contracts, rebates, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Monitor market trends, seasonal pricing, and product availability to mitigate supply-chain risks.
• Collaborate with F&B Operations, Finance, Kitchen, and Stores teams to forecast purchasing needs and maintain optimum stock levels.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support food-cost analysis, purchase-price variance reviews, and budget control.
• Ensure all procured products meet approved quality, food-safety, and brand standards.
• Support event operations, new menu launches, and product sourcing within agreed timelines.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, supplier records, contracts, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE food-safety regulations, company procurement policies, and the authorisation matrix.
• Prepare procurement reports covering spend, cost savings, variances, and supplier performance.
• Support internal and external audits and address procurement-related findings promptly.

You should have:

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  
  

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Prior F&B procurement or operational experience within Dubai’s hospitality, events, hotel, restaurant, or catering sector
• Sound knowledge of food costing, inventory management, product specifications, and supplier evaluation
• Familiarity with Dubai’s F&B suppliers, distributors, pricing practices, and regulatory requirements
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using procurement, ERP, or inventory-management systems
• Previous experience in the UAE, preferably in the event industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Arabic is a plus.
