Procurement and Tendering Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Tendering Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage procurement processes and tendering activities to support various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and optimal supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for oil and gas projects, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the specific needs and challenges of oil and gas operations.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on technical capabilities, pricing, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare, review, and manage technical and commercial tender documentation for oil and gas projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to identify procurement needs effectively.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Monitor and report on procurement activities and tender progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and tendering within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas industry practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools relevant to the oil and gas industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
