We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Processor – Central Operations to join our Operations team and support the efficient processing of banking transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and process operational transactions in accordance with established service standards.
• Provide operational support and assistance to branches and internal business units.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage account identification and closure activities in line with applicable guidelines.
• Handle cheque return activities and ensure timely completion of related processes.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders on operational matters and documentation requirements.
• Resolve day-to-day operational queries and provide timely solutions.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate operational records.
• Support operational projects, process improvement initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of operational activities.
  
  

• Higher Secondary Education or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in banking operations or transaction processing.
• Sound knowledge of banking operations and operational controls.
• Familiarity with banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of compliance and quality.

• Operational accuracy in escrow transaction processing
• File and archive transaction records in line with internal controls to support audit readiness.
• Input transaction data into core banking and escrow management systems with precision to maintain data integrity.
• Flag discrepancies or incomplete documentation to the supervisor for timely resolution and risk avoidance.
  
  

• Transaction accuracy, reconciliation quality, and timely exception resolution.
• Compliance adherence, audit outcomes, and timely escalation of control breaches.
• Maintenance of BPM application documentation and process records
• Update BPM application records promptly to maintain current and accurate process information.
• Support audit activities by providing required documentation and records promptly.
• Ensure documentation reflects current operational practices and system configurations.
  
  

• Maintenance of bpm application documentation and process records completion quality, timeliness, and adherence to agreed service standards.
• Completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Service quality and SLA adherence in escrow transaction processing
• Update workflow trackers and status logs to reflect real-time progress on assigned cases.
• Prioritise daily workload to meet agreed turnaround times for escrow transactions and related requests.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address bottlenecks and maintain continuous workflow during peak periods.
  
  

• Service quality and sla adherence in escrow transaction processing completion quality, timeliness, and adherence to agreed service standards.
• Support for process integrity and continuous improvement in escrow operations
• Complete assigned training modules on new systems or compliance topics to maintain operational readiness.
• Contribute to error log reviews by sharing insights on preventable mistakes and control gaps.
• Identify recurring process issues or bottlenecks during daily work and provide input to the supervisor for improvement.

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Relevant coursework or certification in operational risk or compliance (preferred)
