Job Description
The Process Project Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This position requires strong technical expertise in process engineering and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain process engineering standards and guidelines.
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for process changes and new projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure successful process implementation.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Lead process improvement projects, including scope definition, resource planning, and timeline management.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards throughout process design and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering or project engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of process engineering principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in process simulation and design software.
- Project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project timelines and resources.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to process engineering in the specific industry.
