About the Job:

New Metrics is seeking a Principal to establish, lead, and scale the NM Innovation Lab — a strategic, client-facing capability focused on solving complex business challenges through co-creation, design thinking, advisory, and technology-enabled transformation.

The Innovation Lab will operate as a hybrid and mobile model, leveraging a physical NM space, virtual formats, and on-site client engagements across the GCC. The role sits at the intersection of consulting leadership, innovation, and execution, working closely with NM client leadership teams to shape client agendas, lead large transformation programs, and grow long-term client relationships across both public and private sector clients.

Your Main Duties Will Include:

• Establish and operate the NM Innovation Lab, including engagement formats, methodologies, and toolkits
• Design, develop and implement an Emerging Technologies (AI, AR/VR, Web3, etc.) enabling practice within the lab, including the development of the space, use cases, commercial models, integration with the offerings and go to market
• Design integrated offerings that combine NM’s services of consulting, experience design, technology & analytics and capability building (academy)
• Lead structured ideation, problem framing, and solution co-creation sessions with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor, identifying client challenges and translating them into clear, programmatic transformation approaches
• Shape and co-own large, complex engagements; including solutioning, commercial discussions, and executive presentations
• Serve as Engagement Director on selected programs and provide senior oversight across others
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across consulting, design, analytics, and technology
• Ensure high-quality delivery, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and client expectations
• Nurture and grow client relationships, identifying follow-on opportunities and expanding account footprint
• Leverage existing New Metrics capabilities while identifying and onboarding specialist resources when required

Requirements:

• 10–14+ years of experience in management consulting, digital transformation, or innovation-led advisory
• Proven track record leading large-scale consulting and technology-enabled engagements, ideally $1M+
• Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to bridge strategy, design, and execution
• Deep familiarity with design thinking and human-centered design, including facilitation of executive workshops
• Experience working with public sector and large enterprise clients across the GCC
• Commercially savvy, with experience supporting complex deal cycles alongside Partners
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
