Job Description

The Principal Solutions Engineer (ERP) is a senior-level professional responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. This role demands extensive knowledge of ERP architectures and solutions, with a focus on integrating and customizing these systems to meet the core business needs and strategic goals of the organization. The Principal Solutions Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams, serving as a technical leader and advisor in ERP system development and deployment. This position requires excellent problem-solving capabilities, deep technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ERP project management, system integration, and experience in overseeing large-scale technological transformations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of ERP solutions across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Develop and present technical solutions tailored to meet client specifications.
  • Ensure high-level architecture and design aligns with business and IT strategy.
  • Manage the ERP project lifecycle, including timelines, resources, and risks.
  • Conduct system audits and prepare impact analyses for proposed changes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior technical staff members.
  • Integrate ERP systems with existing IT infrastructure and external applications.
  • Develop test plans and oversee quality assurance to ensure system reliability.
  • Address and troubleshoot technical issues related to ERP system performance.
  • Maintain documentation for system configuration and operational procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest ERP technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in ERP implementation and management.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale ERP projects successfully.
  • In-depth knowledge of popular ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and system integration techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach.
  • Outstanding communication skills to convey complex technical details clearly.
