About the role:

The Content Creator and Marketing Coordinator – Middle East is responsible for creating content for social media and coordinating Zutari’s regional marketing initiatives in the Middle East, with a primary focus on strengthening Zutari’s brand presence in the Middle East region. This role requires strong a self-starter who can work independently in creating content, organisational ability, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to execute marketing activities that align with Zutari’s strategic objectives. The Marketing Coordinator will support the Middle East team by managing regional campaigns, events, client engagement activities, digital marketing support, and content creation

Role Overview

Zutari is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to strengthen our Transport Infrastructure capability in Dubai. You will lead and assure the civil design and coordination of transport-related infrastructure for major projects including at-grade roads, highways, interchanges, bridges, tunnels, and marine/land interfaces.

This role is focused on transport infrastructure systems and interfaces (e.g., corridor-level drainage, utilities interfaces, earthworks, tie-ins and constructability) and works closely with our road geometry, structures/bridges, and traffic teams. It is distinct from area-wide bulk infrastructure design, while remaining highly collaborative across disciplines.

You will play a key role in design development, technical assurance, authority coordination, and stakeholder engagement, supporting delivery across Dubai and Abu Dhabi in line with UAE authority standards and approval processes.

Responsibilities:

Technical leadership & design coordination

• Lead and coordinate the civil/transport infrastructure design for roads, highways and corridor works across all design stages.
• Provide transport infrastructure input to projects involving interchanges, bridges, tunnels, and marine interfaces, ensuring integrated, buildable solutions.
• Manage interfaces with road geometry, pavement, structures, traffic systems, and key corridor constraints (staging, access, tie-ins, utility conflicts).
• Conduct and/or lead design reviews, independent checks, and technical assurance to ensure quality and compliance.
• Drive resolution of constructability and interface risks through multidisciplinary coordination.
  
  
  

• Lead engagement and technical coordination with authorities and clients, including RTA, Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, and Abu Dhabi authorities (e.g., ADM/DMT) and other approving entities.
• Represent Zutari in authority meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions, ensuring alignment on standards, submissions, and approvals.
• Support timely approvals by managing submission expectations, technical responses, and stakeholder actions.
  
  
  

• Support proposals and tenders by contributing to scope definition, methodologies, stakeholder strategy, programme assumptions, and level of effort for transport infrastructure components.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to junior engineers within the Transport Infrastructure unit.
• Promote consistent application of Zutari’s technical standards, QA processes and delivery excellence.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s/PhD advantageous).
• 12+ years’ experience on transport and infrastructure projects (UAE/Middle East experience strongly preferred).
• Proven capability in highway/transport infrastructure design and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with UAE authorities and clients, including RTA, DM, DEWA, and Abu Dhabi approval stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of UAE standards, submission requirements, and approval pathways
• Confident communicator with the ability to lead technical discussions with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
• Professional registration (e.g., Chartered/PE or equivalent) is advantageous.
  
  
  

• Proficiency in Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or equivalent road design platforms.
• Working knowledge of drainage/hydraulic tools relevant to transport corridors (preferred).
• Strong capability in interpreting and coordinating multidisciplinary design information (drawings, models, reports, specifications).
• Solid understanding of interface management and technical assurance practices.
