Job Description

The Presales Manager plays a critical role in driving successful sales outcomes by bridging the gap between the technical and sales teams. This role involves strategic planning, solution crafting, and showcasing the technical aspects that meet client needs. The Presales Manager is responsible for understanding client requirements deeply and creating compelling solutions to ensure successful deal closures. As an integral member of the sales team, you will collaborate closely with account managers and product specialists to address customer requirements comprehensively. This role entails presenting proposed solutions both in written formats and direct interactions, ensuring that solutions are both feasible and aligned with business objectives. The position demands an individual who is both technologically adept and commercially astute, capable of clearly conveying complex solutions, instilling confidence in clients, and driving new business ventures.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage technical proof of concepts to demonstrate solution efficacy.
  • Analyze market trends and customer requirements to inform product development strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals aligning with customer business goals.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from solutions-prepared stages to contract negotiation completion.
  • Provide training and support to sales staff on presales technical aspects and strategies.
  • Engage with clients to clarify specific requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Liaise with the product team to communicate customer feedback for enhancements.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry standards, technologies, and competitive offerings.
  • Participate in bid strategy and positioning for potential business opportunities.
  • Lead client meetings to ascertain requirements and offer viable solutions collaboratively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful client relationships and partnerships.
  • Proven track record of managing and closing business opportunities efficiently.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills essential for client interactions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet shared objectives.
