Key Responsibilities:

• Foster Team Growth Develop and mentor team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
• Innovate with Emerging Technologies Leverage new Power BI features and other BI tools to improve reporting capabilities.
• Uphold Governance Standards and Documentation Establish and maintain best practices for security, version control, documentation and data access in Power BI.
  
  

• Deliver High-Quality BI Data Products: Ensure Power BI Data Products (Dashboards, Reports) and technical solutions meet business needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain Data Accuracy and Integrity: Safeguard the quality, reliability, and consistency of BI data products across all BI environments.
• Compliance to committed project delivery timelines and established visualisation design guidelines.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure BI data products are optimized for performance, including minimizing load times and efficient DAX queries.
  
  

• Data analysis and modelling: The ability to analyse and understand complex data sets, develop data models, and perform data transformations, experience with SSAS and Big Data Import mode.
• Power BI development: Expertise in developing reports and dashboards in Power BI, including data visualization, report design, and data source integration.
• DAX and M language: Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language for data modelling, transformation, and analysis.
• SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process: Familiarity with ETL process, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Data visualization: The ability to design and develop effective data visualizations that clearly communicate key insights and performance metrics along with geospatial maps expertise.
• Programming: Good to have knowledge in any of the programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Communication and collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT support teams. 10. Problem-solving and troubleshooting: The ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with reports and dashboards.
