Job Description

As a Portfolio Assistant Manager, you will be an integral member of the portfolio management team, supporting the oversight and performance analysis of investment portfolios. Your role involves collaborating with senior portfolio managers to implement and monitor investment strategies, while ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management guidelines. You will assist in conducting research, preparing reports, and analyzing data to provide insights on portfolio performance. The position requires excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced finance environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and analysis of investment portfolios on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with senior portfolio managers to develop optimal investment strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and provide relevant insights to enhance portfolio performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholder review and analysis.
  • Conduct thorough research on financial instruments to guide investment decisions.
  • Analyze portfolio data to ensure compliance with industry regulations and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding portfolio performance and actions.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of trading strategies within the portfolio framework.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of investment transactions and documentation.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying and evaluating potential investment risks.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on portfolio objectives and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in portfolio management or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
