Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Pool Technician - Wynn Oasis to join the resort’s Wynn Oasis Engineering team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Operate and maintain pool filtration, circulation, and heating systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, filters, strainers, valves, and dosing units.
• Perform water testing for pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels; adjust dosing as required in consult with water quality team.
• Carry out disinfection procedures including shock treatments and backwashing.
• Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including motors, timers, and control panels.
• Monitor water temperature, clarity, and flow rates to ensure safe swimming conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of water testing, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with the Water Quality Team for compliance audits and inspections.
• Supervise and guide the Pool Cleaner in daily cleaning routines and safety practices.
• Report major faults or equipment failures to the Principal Building Technician.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with UAE health and safety regulations.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Technical certification in pool maintenance or mechanical systems preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pool operations and equipment handling.
• Strong understanding of water chemistry and pool safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical diagrams.
• Good communication and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and digital reporting tools is a plus.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests, complaints, and emergency breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to residents.
