Job Description
- Client > Advisory Company for a Higher Education Organization
- Ideal Candidate > The Client is seeking a highly performance PMO which maintains and ensures standardization of project management processes and practices. He will be the PERSON for project governance and execution of a Plan (>20 streamlines), helping the Client deliver projects effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with strategic goals, defined in the Implementation Plan
- Key Responsibilities > Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices; Provide tools, templates, and training to project managers and teams; Offer guidance and mentoring to improve project execution and maturity; Assist in project selection, prioritization, and resource allocation based on strategic objectives; Maintain visibility over all active and proposed projects to balance workloads and risks; Collect and analyze data on project performance (e.g., timelines, budgets, risks); Generate dashboards and reports for leadership to support informed decision-making; Support proactive identification and mitigation of project risks and issues
- Qualifications > 1) Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, etc.); 2) Ability to oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment with business strategy; 3) Skills in prioritization, balancing resources, and managing dependencies; 4) Knowledge of corporate governance standards; Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and trends 5) Expertise and confidence with the topic in large organizations; 6) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Workload > 3 months + 3 months, 10-12 days/monthly, with one week in Abu Dhabi
- Location > mostly remote, with 1/week in Abu Dhabi each month
- Start-date > Immediate need once identified the right profile
- Period of engagement > 3+3 months
- Rate > able to attract qualified candidates
