Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbers and plumbing assistants.
- Ensure all plumbing work is performed in compliance.
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify any issues or potential problems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for plumbing systems.
- Order and maintain inventory of plumbing materials and supplies.
- Provide training and guidance to plumbing staff.
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth project completion.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and timelines.
- Conduct performance evaluations for plumbing staff.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on job sites.
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new plumbing staff.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
- Provide technical support and expertise as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and codes.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to train and mentor staff.
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
