Sr. Planning Engineer/Planning Engineer

Knowledge/Experience (Skills)

• Minimum of 10 years overall experience, with at least 7 years in the GCC region, specifically in Residential, Villa, or Townhouse developments.
• Collaborates closely with the Project Management team, engaging across multiple disciplines to ensure cohesive execution.
• Performs comprehensive reviews of contractor baseline schedules. Validates productivity metrics and ensures resource-loaded programs meet all contractual and operational requirements.
• Oversees scope management in coordination with the Project Manager and Operations Manager, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Conducts routine site inspections to verify actual progress and maintain schedule integrity.
• Tracks performance against approved baselines, identifies deviations, and provides timely reporting on project status.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal, communication, reporting, and presentation skills, fostering effective stakeholder engagement.
• Possesses deep expertise in project controls, with broad understanding of cost management, risk analysis, change control, and specialized proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Participates in weekly progress meetings, validating contractor updates and advising the project team on corrective actions, risk mitigation strategies, and recovery plans through proactive problem-solving.
