Job Title: Planning Engineer (UAE National / Emirati)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Summary

The Planning Engineer supports planning and scheduling activities for assigned bids/projects/programs, maintaining baselines and supporting monitoring and control of deliverables, risks, workload and costs. The role works closely with Project Management, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure accurate project controls reporting and schedule governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating project schedules using WBS and contract documents; support cost/resource loading.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress updates, planning reports and KPIs; highlight risks and propose mitigations.
• Support critical path analysis and look-ahead planning aligned with site conditions.
• Support delay analysis inputs and documentation for EOT/claims (in coordination with Commercial).
• Support project performance data collection and analysis (schedule, cost, resource requirements).
• Coordinate information with Finance for budget/target sales/invoices tracking.
• Participate in risk management activities (risk identification, monitoring updates).
  
  

• UAE National (Emirati).
• Engineering Degree (e.g., Electronic/Telecom/Computer or relevant).
• 4–7 years experience in planning/project controls (rail/metro exposure preferred).
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• English fluency required; Arabic strongly preferred for local stakeholder coordination.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication and teamwork.
  
  

• Certification(s) in planning/scheduling (or working toward certification).
• Rail/metro project exposure in the Middle East.
