We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Piping Layout Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and planning the layout of piping systems for various infrastructure and industrial projects. As a Piping Layout Engineer, you will work collaboratively with other engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure the efficient and effective flow of fluids, gases, and other materials through piping systems. You will also ensure that all piping designs comply with industry standards and regulations while maintaining the highest levels of safety, reliability, and sustainability. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of projects, from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed piping layout drawings for industrial projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping layouts with other systems.
• Ensure piping designs comply with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to understand field conditions and project requirements.
• Develop and review material specifications for piping components and systems.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify piping layouts.
• Work closely with project managers to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Identify and address potential issues in piping systems during the design phase.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on piping design matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• A minimum of five years' experience in piping layout design is essential.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of industry codes such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex piping systems and scenarios.
