Responsibilities

• Safely operate a pickup truck to complete assigned collection and delivery tasks.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company policies during all driving operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Load and unload goods with care to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of deliveries and collections for reporting.
• Fill out and process the necessary paperwork and logs related to deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold a professional demeanor at all times.
• Regularly monitor mileage and fuel levels, scheduling maintenance as necessary.
• Resolve delivery and collection issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of company vehicles to professional standards.
• Assist in developing and planning optimal routes for timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major offenses.
• At least two years of professional driving experience, preferably in delivery.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and best practices for road safety.
• Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools efficiently and accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between dispatch and customers effectively.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and vehicle inspections.
• Physical stamina to load and unload packages of various sizes and weights.
