The Pickup Driver position is critical for ensuring efficient and accurate transport of goods from the point of origin to the final destination. As a Pickup Driver, you will be responsible for operating a company vehicle to pick up and deliver products in a timely manner. Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods safely and on time.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety standards.
• Maintain an accurate and timely delivery log, including all necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service during pickups and deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
• Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring all items are handled with care and integrity.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately for maintenance or intervention.
• Assist with the maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it remains in good condition.
• Use navigational tools and technology to improve route efficiency and accuracy.
• Support other warehouse duties as necessary to facilitate overall operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Proven experience as a delivery or pickup driver in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of GPS systems and route planning methods.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to lift heavy items and manage physical demands of the role.
• Familiarity with local roadways and traffic patterns to ensure timely deliveries.
