Responsibilities

• Operate a company pickup truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.
• Follow predetermined routes to ensure timely deliveries to designated locations.
• Inspect the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs with details of trips and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle as required.
• Ensure all deliveries comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage fuel receipts and other expenses related to vehicle operation.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at drop-off points.
• Handle emergency situations on the road with adherence to safety protocols.
• Report any mechanical issues or delays to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure cleanliness and routine maintenance of the pickup truck at all times.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
• Proven experience as a pickup driver or in a similar driving role.
• Ability to operate GPS devices and understand maps and directions.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Physical fitness to load and unload packages, some of which may be heavy.
