Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient conditions.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to improve patient mobility and strength.
  • Monitor and document patient progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for rehabilitation at home.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Operate and ensure proper maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and tools.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior physiotherapy staff and interns.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions as required.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements in all patient interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice physiotherapy in the designated region.
  • Minimum of two years experience as a practicing physiotherapist in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
  • Ability to handle diverse patient cases with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and physiotherapy software tools.
