Pharmacy Assistant

An Assistant Pharmacist plays a crucial role in the Cosmetics comany. This position entails supporting licensed pharmacists by performing a range of tasks that contribute to the safe and effective distribution of medications to patients. Assistant Pharmacists are responsible for preparing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing customer service. They work in various settings, including hospitals, retail pharmacies, and clinics, offering key support in maintaining the business' smooth workflow. Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions from licensed pharmacists.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medication records within the database.

• Assist pharmacists in providing patient counseling on medication usage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal pharmacy technician training preferred.
• Certification as a pharmacy technician or assistant is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
