Pharmacist- DHA (225-808)

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist with a valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely according to physicians' prescriptions and DHA guidelines.
• Provide professional advice and guidance on the use of both prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Conduct thorough medication reviews to ensure accuracy, efficacy, and safety for patients.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapies.
• Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and communication with healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and DHA regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
• Manage the pharmacy inventory, including monitoring stock levels and ordering necessary supplies.
• Educate patients on the proper use of prescribed drugs, including potential side effects and interactions.
• Identify potential medication errors and work to rectify them with appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Provide immunization services as licensed, ensuring adherence to vaccination protocols.
• Stay informed about industry developments, new drugs, and government health initiatives affecting pharmacy practice.
• Facilitate patient health screenings and wellness programs to promote public health education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid DHA license to practice as a Pharmacist in Dubai.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a licensed Pharmacist.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compounds, dosages, and therapeutic applications.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with professionals.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software for maintaining records and patient information.
