Job Description

The Petroleum Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing techniques to extract oil and gas from underground reservoirs. They will evaluate drilling and production operations, analyze reservoir data, and develop strategies to optimize oil and gas recovery.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze well performance, production rates, and reservoir data.
  • Design drilling and well completion procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production and increase oil recovery.
  • Conduct reservoir modeling and simulation studies.
  • Collaborate with geologists and geophysicists to identify potential drilling locations.
  • Monitor drilling and production operations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct economic analyses and cost estimation for drilling and production projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in petroleum engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with drilling and production operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
