Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of grooming services like bathing, brushing, and styling.
• Trim, shape, and clean pets' nails, brushes, and coats.
• Provide high-quality service while ensuring the safety of the pets.
• Communicate with pet owners to discuss grooming needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming station at all times.
• Identify any health issues such as skin irritations or infestations.
• Use grooming tools and equipment proficiently and safely.
• Develop strong relationships with pets to ease grooming anxiety.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on pet grooming standards and techniques.
• Schedule appointments and manage time effectively to meet client needs.
• Continuously enhance grooming skills through training and workshops.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pet groomer with a professional grooming salon.
• In-depth knowledge of different breeds and grooming styles required.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively.
• Ability to handle difficult or anxious animals with care and patience.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school is highly preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lifting of pets up to 50 pounds.
