Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Pest Control Technician to join our hospitality operations in Dubai. The Pest Control Technician will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest activity, implementing effective pest control treatments, and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for guests, employees, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular pest inspections across hotel rooms, kitchens, restaurants, storage areas, public spaces, service areas, and other hospitality facilities.
• Identify signs of cockroaches, ants, rodents, flies, mosquitoes, bed bugs, termites, and other common pests.
• Perform scheduled and emergency pest control treatments using approved pesticides, traps, baiting systems, and pest management equipment.
• Implement effective Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices to prevent pest infestations.
• Apply chemical and non-chemical pest control methods according to safety procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, maintenance, food and beverage, and facilities teams to resolve pest-related issues.
• Identify recurring pest problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain pest control equipment, tools, sprayers, traps, and monitoring devices in good working condition.
• Ensure pest control activities are performed with minimum disruption to guests and daily hotel operations.
• Prepare service reports and communicate inspection findings and treatment recommendations to supervisors or management.
• Follow applicable Dubai and UAE pest control, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  
  

• Diploma, certificate, or relevant training in Pest Control, Pest Management, Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician, Pest Control Operator, Pest Management Technician, Pest Control Specialist, or similar role.
• Experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, restaurants, commercial properties, facilities management, or food service environments is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of common household, commercial, and hospitality pests.
• Knowledge of safe pesticide application, chemical handling, pest inspection, and pest prevention procedures.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to understand and follow chemical labels, treatment instructions, and safety procedures.
• Relevant UAE pest control certification or authorization is an advantage.
