A Personal Concierge at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, a Forbes Five-Star luxury hotel, plays a pivotal role in delivering the legendary True Waldorf Service experience. As the primary point of contact for our guests from pre-arrival through post-departure, you will anticipate individual preferences, curate personalized experiences, and create memorable moments that reflect Waldorf Astoria's commitment to luxury, elegance, and exceptional hospitality.

As a Personal Concierge, you are responsible for delivering seamless, personalized service throughout the guest journey by anticipating needs, coordinating bespoke experiences, and ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations. Working collaboratively with all hotel departments, you will provide exceptional service to True Waldorf Service guests, VIPs, and residents while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and attention to detail. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Review daily arrival reports for True Waldorf Service (TWS) guests and VIPs, prioritise room assignments, and coordinate room allocations with the Housekeeping team.
- Contact guests prior to arrival via email and telephone to confirm arrival details, understand preferences, and arrange personalised services and special requests.
- Confirm guest requests prior to arrival and communicate all relevant information to hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure all departments are informed of guest preferences, history, special occasions, and individual requirements before arrival.
- Inspect assigned rooms prior to guest arrival to verify cleanliness, functionality, presentation, and the placement of requested amenities.
- Select and coordinate appropriate in-room amenities for TWS guests, VIPs, and guests celebrating special occasions.
- Manage the Guest Relations Desk and maintain a visible, professional presence in the hotel lobby.
- Coordinate guest requests and provide thoughtful recommendations that enhance the overall stay experience.
- Maintain effective communication with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Culinary, Engineering, and other hotel departments to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain the inventory and presentation of guest amenities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, dining venues, promotions, daily VIP arrivals, and special events.
- Coordinate departure arrangements, including transportation, luggage assistance, shipping, airline information, and other personalised departure services.
- Build lasting guest relationships by recognising returning guests, recording preferences, and supporting guest loyalty.
- Ensure all guest interactions and service delivery reflect True Waldorf Service and Forbes Five-Star luxury standards.

A Personal Concierge serving Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is always working on behalf of our Guests and collaborating with Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Previous experience in a Concierge, Guest Relations, Front Office, or similar guest-facing role within a luxury hotel.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build genuine guest relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for delivering personalised, intuitive, and memorable guest experiences.
- Professional appearance and demeanour that reflects the standards of a Forbes Five-Star luxury hotel.
- Ability to remain composed and adaptable while managing changing guest needs.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience in a Forbes Five-Star luxury hotel or internationally recognised luxury hospitality brand.
- Knowledge of True Waldorf Service standards.
- Additional language skills.
- Experience with Opera Cloud or other hotel property management systems.
