Performance And Automation Testing

Looking for a seasoned Performance Tester with strong experience in Open Banking APIs, regulatory compliance, and test automation. The ideal candidate will assess system performance under load, ensure scalability, and contribute to automation frameworks for continuous testing of financial services platforms.

Open Banking experience is not mandatory it’s just a nice to have. Any payments testing experience would also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance test plans for Open Banking APIs and backend systems
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Dynatrace to simulate high-load scenarios and analyze system behavior
• Skilled in testing APIs (REST, SOAP), web apps, databases, and microservices.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, RestAssured
• Monitor system metrics (CPU, memory, latency) and identify bottlenecks
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Validate OAuth2, FAPI, and mTLS implementations for secure API access
• Document findings and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and reliability Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter)
• Proficiency in Java for scripting and automation
• Deep understanding of Open Banking standards ,API security protocols
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium,RestAssured,TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
