The People Specialist | Offboarding at 21J25 is imperative in creating seamless transition experiences for employees leaving the organization. This role entails managing the entire offboarding process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and maintaining a positive relationship between departing employees and the company. The position requires an individual who is skilled in communication, detail-oriented, and can handle sensitive information with discretion. The People Specialist collaborates closely with various departments to coordinate the logistics of offboarding, including final paperwork, exit interviews, and system access, ensuring that the company's interests are safeguarded, and former employees leave with a favorable impression. This role is pivotal in upholding the company's reputation and maintaining a robust alumni network.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the entire employee offboarding process with precision and care.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather insightful feedback on employee experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and company policies during the offboarding procedure.
  • Prepare and process necessary paperwork for departing employees efficiently.
  • Liaise with multiple departments to facilitate seamless exits and transitions.
  • Revoke system accesses and retrieve company assets from leaving employees.
  • Maintain updated records of employee separations and related documents.
  • Provide timely support and answers to queries from employees during offboarding.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the offboarding process and tools employed.
  • Work to uphold and reflect company values throughout the offboarding journey.
  • Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise post-employment.
  • Foster a positive relationship with former employees post-departure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in offboarding.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with conducting and analyzing exit interview data is advantageous.
