We are looking for a People Operations Specialist, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (hybrid mode of working – 3 days at the office).


Role Summary


As a People Operations Specialist you will own the full HR remit for our Dubai site, while serving as the primary HR partner for the META region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Türkiye) as part of the broader EMEA People & Culture team. This role blends hands-on operational ownership – visa processing, documentation, employee lifecycle – with first-line partnership to managers and employees across the region, while acting as the local subject matter expert on UAE labor law.


You will be the face of HR on-site in Dubai, working independently day-to-day while staying closely aligned with the Head of People & Culture EMEA and Global P&C on policy, systems, compliance, and regional people initiatives.


What You Will Do:


  • Serve as the trusted HR partner for employees and managers across the META region, providing guidance on employee relations, performance, talent, organizational change, and HR policies.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, HR administration, and data management, with primary operational ownership for the UAE.
  • Lead UAE immigration and employment compliance, including visas, work permits, Emirates ID, Golden Visa processes, and local labor law compliance, while supporting employment administration across other META countries.
  • Oversee HR operations, including employee relations, payroll inputs, benefits, absences, investigations, and compliance, ensuring accurate records and audit readiness.
  • Support local recruitment activities and partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to deliver an excellent candidate and onboarding experience.
  • Drive employee engagement, culture initiatives, and workplace operations while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to continuously improve HR services.
  • Support local office operations by coordinating administrative and workplace-related activities, liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure the office runs smoothly.


What You Bring to the Team:


  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or a blended HR and operations role.
  • Experience working within a multinational, global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience managing UAE visa and immigration processes.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Oracle or similar systems.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
