Role Overview: The People & Culture Manager will partner closely with business leaders to drive a high-performance, values-led culture across Bidfood Middle East. The role is responsible for leading core people operations, talent management, employee relations, and capability development in a fast-paced food service environment. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the role ensures alignment between people strategy and business objectives while maintaining compliance, consistency, and a strong employee experience.
Responsibilities:
People Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to functional leaders across operations, sales, supply chain, and corporate teams.
  • Translate business strategy into people initiatives that improve performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational design aligned with growth plans.
Talent & Performance Management
  • Lead end-to-end performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and workforce readiness.
  • Identify high-potential talent and support succession planning initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Drive engagement initiatives, employee listening, and culture-building programs.
  • Coach managers on people leadership, difficult conversations, and conflict resolution.
HR Operations & Governance
  • Oversee HR policies, SOPs, and compliance with UAE labor law and internal governance standards.
  • Ensure accurate HR reporting, documentation, and data integrity.
  • Support audits and ensure consistent application of HR practices across the business.
Learning, Development & Culture
    • Identify capability gaps and implement learning interventions for leaders and employees.
    • Champion Bidfood values, wellbeing initiatives, and continuous improvement in people practices.
    • Support change management initiatives and adoption of new processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification or certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within FMCG / Food & Beverage / Distribution.
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE labor law
Technical requirements:
  • HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Workforce planning and talent development.
  • HR analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Change management and stakeholder communication.
