We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Expert to join our team. As a Payroll Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate and timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws.
  • Maintain and update employee records with any changes in status or deductions.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of all payroll-related forms and documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance to resolve payroll-related issues promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and troubleshoot discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Manage employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to all corporate compliance and governance standards.
  • Implement improvements to enhance payroll process accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to provide payroll information and documentation.
  • Keep abreast of new laws, guidelines, and technologies affecting payroll procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in payroll processing and management.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and systems, including timekeeping applications.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
