Payment Specialist

Role Overview As a Payments Agent, the role focuses on ensuring smooth and efficient operation of payment processes within the organization.

It is positioned as suitable for someone with a background in compliance, payments, banking, or related fields, and with an understanding of international money transfers.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process payment transactions efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in the smooth operation of international money transfers.
• Work closely with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payment-related tasks.
• Liaise with Sales teams to ensure adherence to Payments protocols.
• Resolve issues related to delayed or failed payments, including communication with payment partners.
• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage payment data.
  
  

• Previous experience in compliance, payments, banking, forex, or a related financial operations role (preferred).
• Understanding of international payment flows and payment service providers (PSPs).
• Familiarity with UK payment infrastructure (such as Faster Payments, SEPA, SWIFT) and UK
  
  

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, data filtering).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
• Adaptable and open-minded, with a willingness to learn.
• Team player able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
