As a Patient Service Executive, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient experiences in healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, and medical offices. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that patients receive top-quality services and assist them with various administrative tasks. Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing physician availability.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain and update patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient care and services.
  • Handle patient billing, payment processing, and resolve billing issues.
  • Educate patients about available services and healthcare procedures.
  • Collect and manage patient feedback to improve service quality.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
  • Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions and transactions.
  • Provide support for administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred in related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and patient management software systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with patients from diverse backgrounds.
