Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Arabic-speaking patients and their families.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to address and resolve patient concerns and issues.
  • Assist patients in the navigation of hospital procedures and services.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure patient satisfaction with services received.
  • Document all interactions and feedback in the patient relations information system.
  • Provide translation services when necessary to support effective communication.
  • Organize and participate in patient education sessions and workshops.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance service delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient service processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in a patient-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for handling administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in using patient relations management systems and related software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, communications, or a related field is preferred.
