Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other relevant staff.
• Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical histories.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and insurance claims to ensure prompt processing.
• Conduct follow-up with patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and necessary preparations.
• Facilitate smooth patient check-in and check-out processes in a courteous manner.
• Address and resolve patient concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Prepare and distribute patient education materials according to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to improve service delivery and patient satisfaction rates.
• Manage waiting room conditions and ensure patients are comfortable and informed of wait times.
• Gather feedback from patients to identify areas for service improvement and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Patient Coordinator or similar customer service role in healthcare.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in healthcare management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
• Problem-solving skills to address patient inquiries and coordinate treatment appointments.
• A high school diploma is required; additional certification in healthcare administration is preferred.
