Job Description

As a Patient Administration Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless functioning of healthcare facilities by managing administrative tasks related to patient care. You will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and serving as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and other departments within the organization. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for patients and contribute to the efficient operation of the facility. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate patient appointment scheduling to optimize clinic workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for patient inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other administrative staff.
  • Oversee the patient admission and discharge process, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Assist patients with billing inquiries and payment processing as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute patient documentation and forms as required.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards at all times.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and benefits.
  • Identify and resolve administrative issues affecting patient care delivery promptly.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including handling correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare administrative role required.
  • Proficient in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient privacy standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
