  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on emerging legal and regulatory trends.

Operational Support

  • Prepare documentation, reports and briefing packs for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, registers and trackers relating to contracts, due diligence, and compliance matters.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Legal and Risk & Compliance teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Paralegal experience in a commercial team (either private practice or in‑house; ideally both).
  • Strong drafting skills and comfort working with commercial contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills – clear, concise and confident.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and able to balance multiple priorities.
  • A practical, “can‑do” approach with high energy and curiosity.
  • A genuine team player with strong core values aligned to our purpose and culture.
  • Willing and able to attend the Birmingham office at least three days per week.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting risk, compliance, investigations, or M&A activity.
  • Exposure to GDPR, sanctions, KYC or other regulatory frameworks (training available).
  • Interest in CSR, ethics, sustainability or responsible business topics.
  • A law degree is welcomed but not required.

Why LRQA?

You’ll be part of a supportive team at the heart of a global business, with opportunities for professional development and the potential to pursue company secretarial qualifications if desired.
