A little taste of your day-to-day:

Your role will include but not be limited to:

As the Painter, Responsible for performing painting, polishing, and finishing work across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Duties include surface preparation, paint and varnish application, wallpaper installation, and maintenance of furniture finishes. Ensures safe handling of materials, maintains a clean workspace, and adheres to all health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Perform all painting and finishing work for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming before applying paint or polish.
• Apply varnishes, stains, and paints according to required colour specifications and hotel standards.
• Carry out polishing of wood furniture, panels, doors, and fixtures.
• Install, repair, and replace wallpaper as needed.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of paints, chemicals, and tools.
• Report maintenance requirements and assist in preventive maintenance routines.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop area after completion of tasks.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
  
  

Ideally, youll have some or all the following qualifications and experience were looking for:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in the similar role within luxury hospitality.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both staff and guests.
• Exceptional attention to details and customer handling abilities.
