Paint Mixer

Job Description

The Paint Color Matcher/Mixer is responsible for the efficient mixing and adjustments based on the target color/ancillaries in accordance to the standard procedures. They ensure the quality and consistency of the mixed products, contributing to the overall success of the production process.

Strategic

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the production team specifically the supervisor to ensure timely and accurate completion of mixing tasks.
  
  

Operational

• Accurate paint mixing measure and ancillaries materials based on prescribed formulas.
• Operate mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor mixing processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of mixing area and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  
  

People Management

• Communicate effectively with all the team members to coordinate mixing activities.
• Provide basic guidance to the other technicians by following the technical data sheet of spraying/application.
  
  

Product/Process Improvement

• To ensure usage of the available color tools/equipments to produce acceptable color match rate.
• To ensure the recommended color software volume/amount of paint materials is being followed and control in order to minimize the wastage.
  
  

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

• Able to read, write, speak English skills.
• Training certificate/s relevant to Color Matching course.
• Training certificate/s Paint Application.
  
  

Knowledge & Skill

• Strong understanding of paint mixing/adjusting principles and techniques.
• Color retrieval softwares, Spectrophotometer, Color matching light, able to operate computers.
• Excellent mathematical and measurement skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years color matching exposure.
