Packing Helper

A Packing Helper plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient packing of goods and materials within various industries such as warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics. They are entrusted with the responsibility of preparing products for shipment, ensuring they are securely packed to prevent damage during transit. Responsibilities

• Efficiently pack and label products for shipping according to company standards.
• Ensure all products are wrapped securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean packing area at all times.
• Work closely with the shipping team to coordinate timely dispatch of orders.
• Inspect products for defects or damages before packing them for shipment.
• Report discrepancies or damages to the supervisor promptly for action.
• Participate in inventory checks to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Comply with health and safety regulations in the packing area consistently.
• Operate various packing machines and tools as trained by supervisors.
• Assure that all packaging materials are stocked and report when supplies run low.
• Adhere to company’s quality standards and procedures in all packing activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve packing efficiency and workflow.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a packing or warehousing role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a production or warehouse setting.
• Capability to operate packing tools and equipment with adequate training.
• Flexible in working hours, with a possibility to work overtime when necessary.
