Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and professional Personal Assistant to the Principal to provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.
This is a key role requiring exceptional organisational skills, sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment. As the first point of contact for the Principal's Office, you will act as a professional ambassador for the school, building positive relationships with staff, parents, students, and external stakeholders while ensuring the efficient and confidential operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage complex calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, ensuring effective prioritisation of commitments.
- Coordinate and prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, and other confidential documentation.
- Maintain professional, timely, and high-quality communication on behalf of the Principal.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Principal's Office, liaising professionally and diplomatically with staff, parents, students, governing bodies, and external organisations.
- Coordinate communication and workflow between the Principal's Office and school administrative teams.
- Welcome visitors to the Principal's Office, providing a professional and courteous reception and ensuring an excellent visitor experience.
- Support the planning and coordination of meetings, school events, and leadership activities.
- Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and professional standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting activities outside standard working hours when required for school events or operational needs.
- Attend meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and support committees as required.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Principal or Senior Leadership Team.

- Outstanding organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage positively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business technologies.
- A proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
