Job Overview

This is a rare opportunity to join the multi-award-winning team at Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, an outstanding and highly respected British international school in the heart of Dubai.

We are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Arabic B Teacher to deliver high-quality Arabic teaching in the Primary phase, ensuring all students make strong progress through engaging lessons, inclusive curriculum adaptation, and effective assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Arabic lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.
  • Adapt the curriculum to support SEND students and challenge gifted learners.
  • Design creative, engaging learning activities.
  • Use educational technology to enhance learning and assessment.
  • Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress effectively.
  • Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students.
  • Maintain a positive, purposeful learning environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to support learning.
  • Work collaboratively within a professional and supportive team.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.

Our Curriculum

DBSJP follows the National Curriculum for England, from EYFS through to GCSE, BTEC and A Level examination courses. The curriculum is significantly enhanced by the local context and culture. Requirements:

  • A high-quality Bachelor’s degree in Arabic and a B.Ed. or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Arabic, within a Primary setting.
  • Strong written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Proven ability to deliver inspirational, high-impact lessons with a track record of strong student outcomes.
  • Secure understanding of differentiation, inclusive practice, and SEND support.
  • Confident and effective use of educational technology to enhance learning and assessment.
  • High expectations that motivate students and drive progress.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Clear commitment to the wellbeing, safeguarding, and holistic development of students.
  • Willingness to make a broader contribution to school life beyond the classroom.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural school environment.
  • Experience adapting learning for SEND and gifted students.
  • Familiarity with KHDA / MOE expectations.
