Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outdoor Sales Associate with a passion for sales and a love for the outdoors. As an Outdoor Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating sales and fostering relationships with clients in various outdoor settings. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities, and the ability to work independently, often in challenging environmental conditions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales, an energetic personality, and an understanding of outdoor products and activities. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in designated outdoor territories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients through regular check-ins and follow-ups.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively to potential customers.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice and recommendations on outdoor products and services.
  • Attend outdoor events and trade shows to promote products and generate leads.
  • Effectively manage sales processes from initial contact to closing the sale.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts to management regularly.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in outdoor or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in various outdoor environments.
  • Knowledge of outdoor products and a passion for outdoor activities.
  • Proficient in using software for sales tracking and customer relationship management.
  • Availability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
