Job Title: Oracle EBS Apps DBA

Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EBS Applications DBA with a strong background in on-premise to cloud migrations (Lift & Shift), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and cross-platform migrations from IBM AIX to Linux. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing Oracle EBS environments, performing cloud migrations (preferably to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or Azure), and working with integration technologies to support seamless business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12.x) environments, including patching, cloning, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
• Lead and execute Lift and Shift migrations from on-premises to cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, or AWS) – at least 2 successful end-to-end migrations.
• Perform cross-platform migration of Oracle EBS from IBM AIX to Linux, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to design, plan, and implement scalable cloud-based Oracle solutions.
• Integrate Oracle EBS with other systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Perform database upgrades, platform migrations, and EBS environment cloning activities.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Prepare documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
  
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle EBS Apps DBA.
• Proven experience in at least 2 on-prem to cloud migrations (Lift & Shift) of Oracle EBS environments.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for data and service integrations.
• Strong knowledge and experience with cross-platform migrations (IBM AIX to Linux).
• Proficiency in managing Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud providers such as Azure/AWS.
• Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and concurrent managers.
• Expertise in EBS application patching, cloning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell/Perl/Python) for automation and monitoring.
  
  

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – DBA / Cloud certification.
• Experience with hybrid cloud setups and OCI-native services.
