Job Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled and dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our reputable medical team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye disorders, diseases, and injuries. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and accurate eye examinations for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Perform eye surgeries including cataract removal and laser correction procedures.
  • Prescribe medications and corrective lenses based on patients' specific needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for various eye conditions.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up consultations.
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and post-treatment requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and eye health research.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient medical histories and treatments.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.
  • Adhere to all professional, legal, and ethical standards in medical practice.
  • Actively engage in ongoing education and training to maintain professional competency.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.
  • Valid state license to practice medicine and board certification in Ophthalmology.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in an ophthalmology clinic or hospital.
  • Extensive knowledge of eye diseases, diagnosis, and surgical procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Commitment to continuous education and professional development in the field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team environment.
