Operations Specialist, Growth Emerging Market

Purpose Statement

Join our dynamic Supply Chain Operations team and take ownership of ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality warehouse and logistics operations. You will collaborate closely with our 3PL and BSC teams to meet performance targets, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of operational excellence. In this role, you will supervise all operational activities, ensuring that processes run seamlessly, targets are achieved, and quality standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead inventory reconciliation and cycle count processes.
  • Collaborate with the transportation team to plan inbound and outbound activities.
  • Drive localization initiatives with the 3PL and ensure the team is adequately trained.
  • Identify operational improvements and introduce cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure audit readiness in collaboration with the QA team for the distribution center.
  • Act as a liaison between functions to drive business improvement in DC service and quality.
  • Maintain a clean, secure, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.

Quality System Requirements

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality by adhering to the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures.
  • For supervisory roles:
    • Ensure appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are available to maintain compliance with the BSC Quality Policy.
    • Promote a work environment that supports quality and compliance standards.
Functional Knowledge & Expertise

  • Solid conceptual, technical, and functional knowledge in warehouse operations.
  • Basic understanding of related functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Awareness of business drivers and integration points with other teams.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

  • No direct supervisory responsibility; may provide guidance to new team members.
  • Solve problems by applying practical experience, judgment, and established procedures.
  • Moderate guidance and direction provided as needed.

Impact & Interactions

  • Contributes to the quality and efficiency of own team; may influence closely related teams.
  • Explains factual and occasionally complex information clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Organizes and presents data to influence decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3–4 years of warehouse and operations experience.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Preferred: Experience supervising a team.
