Job Purpose

dnata Airport Operations’ vast ground handling operations successfully service the major global hub that is Dubai International Airport. We deliver a seamless experience from check-in to baggage delivery for more than 80 million passenger and 140 scheduled airlines annually.

As an Operations Performance Manager, dnata Cargo, you will support the Vice President Cargo Operations UAE, in monitoring and maximising various levels of performances across airport operations to drive efficiencies and reduce waste.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead projects in collaboration with businesses and Headquarter support functions to optimise network performance.
  • Implement Onednata initiatives including World Class Operational Performance, Operational Best Practices (OBP) and Business Resource Planning (BRP) to enhance efficiency and align with business strategy.
  • Monitor and resolve service quality issues or adverse KPI trends across dnata, working closely with Operation Managers to improve processes.
  • Analyse monthly network performance reports and recommend corrective actions as required.
  • Develop and circulate performance-based network league tables to encourage engagement and competition.
  • Support evaluations of new business opportunities, acquisitions and mergers through operational audits and assessments of potential ground handling ventures.
  • Establish and lead a cargo forum to share best practice, innovation and industry insights.
  • Implement governance and business processes based on best practice in procurement, resource management and supply chain to enhance customer service.
  • Drive collaboration across the network to standardise customer experience and ensure safe service delivery.
  • Oversee KPI monitoring and risk management, working with Enterprise Analytics to enhance data processes and ensure compliance with dnata standards.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant field
  • 8 years + experience in cargo operations
  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt qualification

  • Advanced analytical / data management skills
  • Experience in oversight and monitoring
  • Commercial, training and quality assurance knowledge is preferred
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Excellent professional writing skills
