Job Description

As an Operations Officer in Credit Administration, you will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the smooth operation of credit mechanics within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the credit process, administer all related documents, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. You will work closely with other financial and operations departments to mitigate risk, manage credit portfolios, and ensure timely processing and approval of credit applications. Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of credit administration ensuring timely processing of credit applications.
  • Maintain and update credit documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to analyze credit data and financial statements.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and financial institutions regarding credit matters.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit reports and make recommendations based on thorough analysis.
  • Oversee the risk assessment process and implement strategies to minimize financial risks.
  • Monitor ongoing credit exposure and ensure it aligns with company risk tolerance levels.
  • Assist in developing and refining credit policies and procedural guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure accurate and secure credit processes.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff regarding credit administration processes.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries related to credit decisions efficiently.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline credit administration functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in credit administration or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of credit management principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
  • Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
