Job Description

The Operations Officer (01J26) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of an organization's daily business operations. This critical position serves as a bridge between the strategic directives of upper management and the implementation most effectively at the operational level. The Operations Officer will be responsible for developing and executing operational policies, ensuring compliance and risk management, and overseeing productivity and performance standards. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. An ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset who can lead teams towards operational excellence while implementing cost-effective measures that align with the company's economic goals and growth objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic operational goals, policies, and procedures organization-wide.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout operational processes.
  • Monitor and analyze operations performance and propose improvements where necessary.
  • Coordinate with the senior management team to align departmental goals with company objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing operations-related activities.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
  • Lead and mentor operations team members to enhance their skills and performance standards.
  • Develop and manage operational metrics and KPIs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify operational risks and develop plans to mitigate potential impacts on operations.
  • Promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale among staff.
  • Facilitate operational capacity building and ensure team adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among all operational departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in an operations management role in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of operational policies, procedures, and best practices implementation.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking capabilities required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and manage operational functions profitably.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, performance metrics, and operational auditing tools.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and bring efficient solutions quickly.
