Operations Material Controller

Hunting is looking for a Operations Material Controller to join its team based in Jebel Ali Free Zone Dubai UAE.

The Job Holder’s main responsibility is for the selection and processing of orders, equally the receipt delivery and dispatch of goods in an effective, safe and timely manner, in accordance with the Company’s processes and procedures. The Job Holder will also assist in general Yard and Stores maintenance and housekeeping duties as required. Ensuring work equipment and areas are clean, safe and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Liaising with staff responsible for purchasing, to maintain awareness of upcoming deliveries and assist with expediting to ensure that suppliers deliver on time
• Liaising with sales team to maintain awareness of upcoming rental returns
• Liaising with QC department to ensure timely inspection of purchased and delivered goods
• Kit issue parts to assemblies from stores/stock and from goods receipted into stock both physically and via the company ERP system
• Ensuring shelves remain stocked at all times and are neat and tidy
• Performing Forklift and Electric Pallet truck duties for loading and unloading of racks and vehicles
• Ensuring the packaging of goods for shipping are done effectively and in a timely manner
• Delivering of orders to the customer in a timely manner. This will be occasional and local deliveries only
• Taking delivery of all goods coming in, checking all parts are here and booking them into the companies ERP system
• Maintain accurate records of all imports in order to meet the requirements of OSC and Dubai customs
• Recording the delivery of purchased and delivered goods from external suppliers, following QC checks by Inspection
• Recording and allocation of serial numbers/Batch Numbers to fixed assets and inventory
• Producing and maintaining accurate records of Goods Received and Transmittal Notes
• Work with finance department to complete 6 monthly stock counts and assist in resolving all discrepancies identified during counts
• Undertaking the operation of workshop cranes and forklifts as required and where training has been completed
• Work is of a physical nature, involving lifting and carrying, albeit supported by physical aids (Cranes and Forklifts etc.) and working with potentially dangerous machinery and tools.

The successful candidate will possess, bachelors degree or relevant experience working in Oil and Gas Manufacturing store, with valid forklift license and UAE driving license. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications along with ERP ideally MS Dynamics 365, Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
